A great dessert recipe off the grill, this cranberry bread pudding recipe is sure to impress your guests at Thanksgiving or any other special gathering.

While this is a great dessert paired with ice cream, it is equally great as breakfast to create a festive mood on Turkey Day. Plus, who doesn’t love some orange liqueur and bourbon during the holidays?

What you need

  • 1 1/2 cups of heavy cream
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup triple sec
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 2 Tbsp orange zest
  • 1 cup cranberries
  • 1/2 cup Craisins
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 loaf stale French bread, torn into small pieces

Mix all ingredients together and let marinate 20 minutes. Pour into a deep cast-iron skillet. Grill with indirect heat for 30 minutes until the bread pudding rises and is golden on the edges.
