Cinnamon Marinade on steaks for extra kick

There are many members of Grillax Nation that are set in the way they prepare a steak before it hits the grill. Some only use a dry rub, while others liquid marinate the Dickens out of it! We have a solution … Spicy Cinnamon Marinade.

Here is a spicy cinnamon marinade for those who can easily step out of their comfort zone and be open-minded about great taste.

Spicy Cinnamon Marinade

    1 Tbsp ground chipotle pepper

  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Kosher salt
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 Tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup Pinot Noir
  1. Whisk wine, oil, lime juice, chipotle and cinnamon in small bowl.
  2. Add marinade to your beef in a resealable plastic bag, making sure to coat the entire cut.
  3. Refrigerate a minimum of 40 minutes.
  4. Grill over medium-high heat until desired doneness, depending on the thickness of the cut.
