Ultimate Burger
Ingredients
Ultimate Burger
- 2 pounds ground chuck 80/20
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Ultimate Sauce
- 1/2 cup Duke's mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup Heinz ketchup
- 3 tbsp French's yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp Tabasco Chipotle pepper sauce
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
Ultimate Burger
- In a small bowl, mix the pepper, garlic and onion powders. In a large bowl, add the meat and gradually add in some of the spices until thoroughly mixed, being sure not to compress the meat too much and leave some air pockets.
- Form the patties to about 4-inches wide and 3/4-inch thick. Refrigerate until ready to grill.
- Before adding beef to grates, season the exterior with salt. Add to both sides a thin layer of light olive oil.
- Cook directly over medium-high heat, flipping once until cooked in the center.
Ultimate Sauce
- Whisk everything together in a small bowl until smooth.
- Serve the burgers on high-quality soft buns, buttered and toasted for texture and flavor.
- Smear the sauce on the bottom bun, then top with the burger and veggie toppings.
