One food that's synonymous with the South is boiled peanuts. The warm, salty brine and tender, juicy peanut will create a memory one will never forget. So good.

Ass-Kickin' Boiled Peanuts

 2 lbs Green Peanuts
 5 Fresh Jalapeños, sliced long ways
 ¾ cup Sea Salt
 2 tbsp Cayenne Pepper
 2 tbsp AvecTous Spicy Blend
 2 tbsp Garlic Paste
 1 cup Dark Brown Sugar
 3 oz Liquid Crab Boil
 12 cups Water

In a large stock pot (20 quart), bring all ingredients to a boil.

Once boiling, reduce heat to medium/low. Cover and simmer for 2 hours. Don't lift the lid.

After two hours, take our a peanut and test for firmness. You want to have a soft peanut, with a spicy, salty taste.

Cover and continue simmering and stirring every half hour. Check every hour to see if the peanuts are soft.

After 6-8 hours, and your peanuts are now soft, remove from heat and allow to cool.

Serve warm. Refrigerate peanuts in an airtight container with some of the cooking liquid. Keeps for 3-4 days.
